Just a little update,
I'm now using threaded graphics updates (hell to implement). So the lighting will now fill in way faster, because when one thread waits for synchronization or IO, another can continue.
Also, the player should now exit from the closest accessible point of where he entered.
Be sure to crank up your viewing distance as I optimized the viewing function. There was also a bug that drew segments that were to far away for a certain viewing distance. The viewing distance is also now a tid more closer to the fog. 30-40 should display a whole sector from any position.
